Has anyone had any issues with slow home charging speed? I've tried for the first time today with my C10 and it's maxing out at around 3.5kW. I'm using the same cable I use for my leaf which I just tried and that is charging at its full 6.6kW and there are no limits set on my charger. I looked in the car for any charging speed limiter but can't find one. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thanks

Thanks for your response. It seems likely that it's an issue with the car then. I have the Ohme epod and it has been no issue on my leaf for 18 months. When on max charge it would always reach 6.6kW. Max charge on the C10 gives 3.5kW. Another issue to inform the dealship about only 3 days since getting the car.

Reading the tech sheets for both the C10 and the ohm epod, the C10 should be able to recharge at up to 6.6kwh

How to charge to full as soon as possible ('Max Charge') suggests that the user selects in the app a max charge option - likely on each charge - otherwise the charger chooses slower charges dependant on time of day, instantaneous pricing, etc

Also, the app seems to offer different charging profiles for different cars, maybe it's trying to charge the C10 as if it's your Leaf

As there will be subtle differences between the cars, perhaps create a new charging profile for the C10?

Ohme have Leapmotor on their app and they support it however they don’t have the Leapmotor API so the Ohme will not communicate directly with the car but it does know the max charging rate and battery capacity.

Also note if your on 40% and you want to charge to 90% you select in the APP 50%
I’m on a fixed rate tariff so it doesn’t matter when I charge so I use Max mode.
If you have a selected a tariff it will generally use smart charge which is governed by being green depending on the grid conditions, Max mode will override this.

In time hopefully they will add the API functionality to the charger and you’ll be able to use one APP as the charger will know how much power your car has, until then use the Leapmotor APP to see when to stop the charge.

I had already set my Ohme to the C10 profile and it's the one I was using but it was still only getting 3.5kW.

I'm not using the cable that came with the car as it's so short but the cable I'm using I've used on multiple different brand EVs and all charge at max available speed i.e 6.6kW on the leaf and 7.2kW on Tesla and Volvo.

I can't see what else it could be other than an issue with the car?

I just plugged my new leapmotor C10 into my pod point ev home charger for the first time the other day and it took around 10 hours to add only around 19% charge. I'm fuming and my dealership is not offering any support at all. What is going on? My volvo XC40 used to take around 9 hours to fully charge and I need this to be the case with the C10. The car stated that it will take around 35 hours for a full charge which is utterly ridiculous. I will be sending this car back if they can't sort this issue out!
