I had to connect the car to the WiFi hot-spot from my phone, rather than connect my phone to the WiFi hot-spot from the car. Once connected, I had to open the QD link app on both the car and phone. On the QD link on the phone, select the settings button, and then 'hot-spot connection'. Mine connected up this way and have been able to control the phone through the cars screen.

Assume you have Android device? Can’t seem to find QD Link app for iPhone.

I’ve bought the Carlinkit 5.0 but despite connecting it to the car and Bluetooth, nothing happens. Can you help please?
