Intermittent charging problem.

I have an intermittent problem with charging. I'm on Octopus intelligent go with a zappi charger and a C10. When the charging schedule starts, the charge sometimes doesn't start. The zappi is waiting to charge but says "EV preventing charge". If I touch the charging upper limit slider on the Leapmotor app without changing any of the values, it's just as though the car has been woken up and the charging starts. Sometimes this won't work either so I've unplugged the cable, plugged it back in and then touched that slider again. That seems to clear it.
I've checked that here's no charging schedule on the car and the car is locked. I've removed the zappi from my Octopus account and flipped the breaker on it for an hour before re-integrating it with Octopus. The problem is still there.
Most of the time it's ok but I get this occasional glitch!
Any suggestions?

A bit more info on this. I plugged the car in last night and used the car scheduler. That all worked fine. I then disabled the car scheduler and re-integrated the zappi with Octopus and asked for a 20% charge as the battery was at 84%. After plugging the car in, the zappi indicated waiting for surplus. Octopus gave a charging slot and the zappi responded by trying to start a charge. I heard the relays kick in and power was delivered for a few seconds before stopping and the charger saying Delayed. The zappi app said that the EV was preventing the charge and the Leapmotor app said that car charging was complete - which it clearly wasn't as the battery indicator was showing 84% and the charging limit is set at 100%.
It seems like the car charging software is unable to deal with commands from the zappi to start a charge. It has worked fine in the past so I wonder if there's a way to reset the car's charging software?

I have a similar issue with an Ohme Home Pro charger, Ohme do not have the Leapmotor API so it never knows how much charge is left or how much charge is in the battery.

I gave up with scheduled charges and just use max mode and rely on the Leapmotor to stop at 90% or 100% if I’m going on a long journey.

I believe the Zappi has 3 modes of charge

Eco
Eco +
Fast

What happens if you try on fast mode set to 90% on the Leapmotor APP?

Can you set a custom price plan on the Zappi?

I have two rates set so standard Mon - Sat and Cheap rate between 11am - 4pm Sunday

Thanks Pedz2301
I have no problem with using a scheduled charge on the car or the zappi. It's only whilst using Octopus Intelligent Go. This tariff opens up much cheaper electricity rates and allows the rest of the house to benefit from those rates whilst the car is charging. Core times are 23:30 - 05:30 but often, these rates go through to the middle of the next morning due to the intelligence built into the product to take advantage of green energy. Great for keeping the battery topped up and the hot tub warm
