Getting used to the car now... However after a wash, I found that certain marks from insects or bird droppings seem impossible to remove or buff out. It seems like the clear coat has been eaten into?

Here is such a stain on my bumper. I firstly tried a GTechniq citrus cleaner neat which got rid of the insect remains. Having seen that there were still marks, I tried to buff it out with a nanosealant and microfibre, then resorted to an ordinary resin polish. Still doesn't shift so it's possible the coat has been damaged?

Anyone else have this issue and if so, have you managed to get it rectified? Note - I didn't pay for all the extra paint protection etc that the dealer always tries to sell....
